Not quite a Hole in One – Matt Dowling

Sunday group Matt Dowling holed his 7 iron from 140 metres out for 2 on the 17th.
Earned himself 5 points and contributed greatly to his 41 points for the round.
It’s not the same as a hole in one on a par 3 but it gets him more points – and the coffee.
The 17th is a tricky hole with that bunker to the right and the pines to the left. Any score under 4 is a relief on a tricky green with an aggressive slope, well done Matt.
Rumour also has it that Colin Hunter also scored (another) hole in one, but no photo, no credit.
