2026 Australian Open at Royal Melbourne

The forthcoming Australian Open is set to be held at Royal Melbourne Golf Club this year.
In support of this prestigious event, Sandy Golf Links will be involved in hosting and operational duties, including:
* The driving range being reserved for competitor warm-up and practice.
* The 8th and 9th greens being utilised as short-game practice facilities.
* Designated areas of the course being used as event parking to assist tournament logistics.
Consequently, Sandy will be closed from Monday, 1 December through Monday, 8 December. Normal play will resume, and the tee sheet will reopen on Tuesday, 9 December.
