The VGL is the parent body representing Golf Clubs on public golf courses in Melbourne.

VGL Pennant

2020 season cancelled for Scratch & Handicap teams, and suspended for the Senior team.
The VGL Pennant schedule, rules, results and ladders for all teams and divisions are available on the VGL website.

Sandringham Golf Club entered three teams for 2020
  • Scratch - Div 3
  • Handicap - Div 2
  • Seniors - Pickworth division 
Scratch & Handicap
  • Play on Sundays.
  • Season starts March 22, 2020.
  • Final at Werribee Park on May 17 (Scratch) and May 24 (Hcap)
Seniors 
  • Play on Thursdays
  • Season starts February 27, 2020
  • Final on April 16, 2020 at Mornington

To be eligible, members must return at least 4 cards in singles competitions played at Sandringham from October 1, 2019 until the start of the pennant season. Players must also be a member of the Club by January 1, 2020, and hold a current Australian Handicap by the first round of pennant.
Seniors must have attained 55 years prior to the first match.
​Maximum GA handicap is 36.4 for Seniors and 27.4 for Handicap.
